Battle B Daman

Greenhills yesterday.Picked up Lanz in lasalle and my little boy was all smiles when he saw me inside our van. He was very proud because he got 2 stickers from his adviser, meaning he was good in class. "Hi Mom! Got 2 stars! Did you buy the Battle-be-the-Man already?" Shempre hindi ko pa nabibili and so I felt so guilty. The Battle-be-the-Man toy is supposed to be a reward for him because he is again in the TOP FIVE of their class ( So Proud. So Proud.). "Not yet anak. we'll eat first and then we'll get your toy okay?" Went to shakey's, lanz and I had tropical bacon pizza (new!), a very tall mocha shake, chicken & pasta while Lloyd proceeded with his agenda to get himself an E90. After munching the crunchy thin-crust, we then marched to Toy Kingdom. Lanz covered his ears with his two hands as we approached the salesman in charge of the toy that Lanz has been wanting for the longest time. So I asked for it. "Sorry Ma'am, out-of-stock po kami nyan, hindi pa po namin alam kung kelan magkakaron." Lanz's face dropped, his sad eyes broke my heart. "I knew it. I don't wanna hear it." So sad. Told him to get any toy that he liked and id still get him the Battle-be-the-man toy when it becomes available. So we took off with a Hotwheels special edition toy, two Hot wheels cars, and a Make-up kit for Lexi (just so she wouldnt be jealous).

Haayyy! So hard to be a mom. When your kids get hurt, you feel hurt a hundred times more.
